do you want to get married?

Yes, very much so. Just waiting to be asked.

Ask me anything

how do you like your coffee?

I only really drink filter coffee, very milky, no sugar, preferably a latte, and in a mug not a silly latte glass, maybe a little syrup for added flavour (peppermint, vanilla, ginger etc).

Ask me anything

Who do you blame for being who you are today?

Me!

Ask me anything

What kind of car do you drive/who bought it for you?

I don't have a car any more; I ride a Suzuki SV650 motorbike and a bicycle. I bought the motorbike, my mum bought me the bicycle for my 16th birthday.

Ask me anything

Does anyone admire you?

Yes, my Sephi :) and various others for different reasons so I'm told.

Ask me anything

Last time you cried?

Last night, pain does that to you. Stupid pain.

Ask me anything

Do you believe there is just one love for everyone, or that there can be multiple loves?

There isn't just one person for someone, otherwise you're screwed if your Mr/Mrs Right dies. Falling in and out of love with different people is part of growing up and emotionally maturing. Eventually you'll find someone who crosses your path who is perfect for you. Doesn't mean you were always destined to be together.

Ask me anything

What movie have you watched more than any other?

Probably Disney's Beauty and The Beast :)

Long overdue update

So, it's a Saturday afternoon, I've got several knitting and crochet projects sat around me, my fingers are aching, so let's revisit this old thing.

For those interested I've recently taken up crochet and knitting. I love it, though everyone else no doubt thinks I'm boring and sad as a result. I may post pictures of what I've created so far, but that's for another day.

I'm also living in my own flat now; halls was a disaster that killed my sanity with sleep deprivation. So there is just me and my cat Zu. I acquired Zu in March, she's 2 years old, black domestic longhair. Likes to hunt ladybirds, scared of feathered birds, pays with yarn, steals cake and talks a lot. I love her to bits and she's all mine!

Updates from pain land: the pain from my appendix surgery nearly 2 years ago is constantly getting worse. Yay! I hate it. I'm now on maximum dose Tramadol, maximum dose Naproxen and I'm soon to start Pregabalin for nerve pain. The joys of chronic pain, I'm now blacking out from pain so I'm glad I've been transferred to Liverpool pain clinic instead of Preston and hopefully they'll have some better ideas. I'll also no doubt have to tell my woes to a pain psychologist as to be brutally honest being in constant pain makes me really sodding miserable. I'm not depressed, just worn out and have a terrible feeling of injustice.

My nursing course is going well, I'm heading towards the end of my first year. I should pass without too much difficulty, no flying colours though because my health has impacted on my studies somewhat. Though I've only missed 1 day of uni due to poor health, so I'm doing pretty well.
As for what I want to do when I'm qualified; I'm still not entirely sure, become a nurse for a start. I've always been interested in tissue viability and wound care, so I may pursue that, though having followed various nurse specialists and having seen them myself as a patient I'm very interested in their jobs. (Note to self, ask pain specialist nurse how she got to where she is now.)

I'm back on a motorbike now, I have a Suzuki SV650 in candy copper. She's stunning!

Anyway, that's all for now. I'm awaiting Sephi's return, hopefully on a new motorbike as his old one was thieved! TTFN

Are you a good cook?

Yes, but my boyfriend is much better.

Ask me anything

Haha i love how as soon as you say 'Ask me anything' the conversation shifts to boobs! Gotta love the internet! 32E btw?

Nope, not even close. Who's asking this by the way?

Ask me anything

What's making your life better?

My cat, regular exercise, fruit, lots of water, crochet and knitting, attempting meditation and yoga, sensible bedtimes, no alcohol, pain medication, hot water bottles, chocolate. It all helps me to stay as close to sane as possible and avoid the crazies. It usually works.

Ask me anything

32D?

No where near, that's insulting!

I live with my cat Zu, I love her to bits and she's fantastic to live with, so cute and pretty and funny. I also live with myself, that's a bit more difficult, not sure if I like living with myself at times.

If you could increase your intelligence dramatically, or become loads more conventionally good-looking, which would you choose?

Neither, I already have both good looks and intelligence. Alas no humility.

What will your wedding day be like?

Awesome! It will involve hot chocolate instead of champagne and none of this silly "wedding breakfast" stuff. Plus there will be a hog roast, jacket potatoes, mashed potatoes, chili, french sticks, salmon, gammon and no namby pamby finger food or fancy stuff, vegetarians and vegans will just have to put up with bread and potatoes. Plus lots of classical music and the Beatles music, maybe a bit of rock and metal. I will be pleasing myself and hopefully whoever decides to marry me and no one else! I also will not be wearing white.

When you had red hair, how did you get it that colour? It's lush!

Hmm, which shade of red? I've had many. The pinkier reds are from Directions hair dye in either Rose Red, Tulip, Cerise or Crazy Colour in Cyclamen. The more red/auburn/ginger colours are from Henna and sometimes Directions dye in Poppy Red.
